Compare the Entrance and Finished Step
A shower can look open while still having a narrow entrance or a raised tray. Check the clear opening and the height after drainage is allowed for. Leave room outside for entering and drying. If stepping over a bath is the reason for the change, explain exactly what is difficult before choosing a tray.
Position the Screen and Controls Together
The screen should help contain spray without making the room awkward to use. The shower supply, controls and wall finishes also need checking. Plan a shelf for bottles and a towel within reach, with enough space around the basin and toilet. The quote should identify these fitting details, not just the tray size.
