Make Room to Shower, Wash and Move
A shower room needs usable space between fittings, not simply enough space to squeeze each product in. Check the shower opening, basin depth and toilet position on a measured plan. A smaller basin can save floor space but should still allow comfortable handwashing without water splashing onto the floor.
Include Light, Ventilation and Storage
Plan mirror lighting, a suitable extractor and somewhere for toiletries before the walls are finished. Shower doors and drawers should open without catching one another. Check that valves and drain parts remain accessible for maintenance, and read the care instructions for the chosen screen, wall finish and furniture.
