Light the Places You Use Most
Think about washing at the basin, using the mirror and entering the shower. Decorative lighting should not leave these areas difficult to see. A qualified electrician needs to select suitable products and positions for bathroom use. Agree the controls and electrical work before ordering mirrors or fittings.
Discuss Cold Areas and Persistent Condensation
A towel rail is not automatically enough to heat the whole room. Explain cold spots and how you normally use the bathroom. If damp keeps returning, the fan, air route and possible leaks need checking. Ventilation should suit the system installed in the home, with controls and care explained at handover.
