Explain the Help You Need in the Bathroom
Describe what is difficult now, such as stepping into the bath, standing at the basin or reaching the shower controls. Include the needs of anyone helping you. An occupational therapist may be useful where health or mobility needs require individual advice. A photograph or an accessible product label cannot decide the right layout on its own.
Check the Whole Room Before Choosing Equipment
Consider the entrance, turning space, seating, controls, support rails and drainage together. Rails and seats need suitable structural support and fitting. A low or level shower depends on the floor and drain route. Agree the actual dimensions and selected products before installation, including how the room will be cleaned and maintained.
