Check the Room and Layout in the Quote
A useful bathroom quote should describe the room being changed and the work you have discussed. Check whether the bath, shower, basin and toilet are staying in their current positions or moving. Keep a measured layout beside the quote where one has been prepared. This helps connect the written list with the bathroom you expect to receive, rather than leaving important choices to memory.
If there are awkward doorways, stairs or shared access, make sure the arrangements have been discussed. Delivering a bath and carrying the old fittings out are part of getting the job done. A planned date can depend on products, preparation and agreed access, so ask what has actually been confirmed. If this is your only bathroom, make sure the disruption has been discussed before accepting the schedule.
Confirm Final Checks and Keep the Paperwork
Ask how the finished room will be checked and handed over. You should understand how the shower and other controls operate, when new materials can be used and which cleaning methods suit the products. Keep instructions and model details for fittings that may need servicing or replacement parts. Ask for the written workmanship guarantee and product warranties that apply to your installation.
Before accepting the quote, read it again alongside the layout and samples you chose. Make a short list of anything missing or unclear and have it answered. Keep the final version, approved changes and product information together. Date each revision so an earlier product choice cannot be mistaken for the final order. A good quote is not simply a total at the bottom of a page; it is a record of the bathroom and fitting work you have agreed.
